Georgia club fans may be interested in knowing more about what sources are calling a 'violent' car accident involving DJ Calvin Harris that occurred on May 20 on the opposite side of the country. According to a rep for the Scottish disk jockey, who, as of press time, is in a relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift, Harris suffered a number of injuries when the SUV in which he was a passenger was struck by a Volkswagen.
The accident happened in Los Angeles when a 16-year-old teenage girl reportedly lost control of her vehicle and collided with the SUV. Photos show that the front of the VW was smashed inward while the left side of the SUV was almost completely torn off in the collision.
Following the crash, the 32-year-old Harris was taken to a hospital in Burbank for treatment of facial lacerations. He later checked out of that facility During the crash, a teenage passenger was ejected from the Volkswagen and suffered a broken pelvis. Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening, and she is expected to recover.
Because insurance companies may often offer settlements that are inadequate to cover losses, Georgia residents who are injured in SUV accidents may want to seek advice from a personal injury lawyer as soon as possible following an incident that is believed to have been caused by the negligence or recklessness of another motorist. The lawyer can review the official investigation report and other evidence such as the testimony of witnesses in order to demonstrate that the at-fault driver should be responsible for the losses that the injured victim has incurred.
