Greg has lived in Augusta all of his life where he was reared by his parents Pat Ward and Dan Leopard, who are also life long residents of Augusta. He attended Warren Road Elementary School, Tutt Middle School, and Westside High School, all located in Richmond County.
After graduating from Westside, Greg attended the University of Georgia where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1998. Greg decided to extend his educational experience in Athens after graduating from UGA where he decided to continue his academic career as a law school student where he again graduated from the University of Georgia with his Juris Doctorate of Law in 2002.
During his academic career at the University of Georgia, Greg graduated Magna Cum Laude with High Honors through the University of Georgia's prestigious Honors Program. As a Psychology Major at UGA, Greg graduated first in his class with a 4.0 in his major and was accepted into the internationally recognized honor association, Phi Beta Kappa.
In 2000, Greg married his wife, Donna, who is a Nationally Certified English teacher at Fox Creek High School. Greg and Donna have two children, Julie and Emilia. Along with his family, Greg is an active member of this community. He is a former church council member and a life long member of Resurrection Luther Church and is a graduate of Leadership Augusta.
Prior to joining the law firm of Floyd Leopard & Blake, Greg was a State of Georgia Prosecutor as an assistant under then Solicitor General Sheryl B. Jolly. As a member of Floyd Leopard & Blake, Greg specializes in Criminal Law including Misdemeanors, Felonies and Federal Criminal Cases, Family-Domestic Law, and Personal Injury Law.
